Hey guyz
I'm going to look at a guys 90 Mariner blue Miata on Monday. It is bone stock and appears to be in pretty good shape. It has 129,000 miles on it and if he still has it on Monday I am pretty sure I am going to get it. I know generally what to look for when buying a used Miata, but I wondered if there was any specific things I should be looking for on it since it is a 1990? Anything I should shy away from? Any help would be appreciated.

If the timing belt has been replaced I'd be worried about the shortnose crank problem. You can read about it on the m.net garage.
