Default How much is the factory exhaust worth?

I want to hacksaw through mine to get it out of the car instead of removing the sub-frame brace below the diff.
Is this thing worth anything to anyone?
Can I just hack it up into smaller pieces and throw it in the garbage or do I have to deliver it to a junk yard as scrap metal?

I couldn't even give mine away on the local boards. It's sitting in a friends warehouse waiting for a scrap run.

It's worthless! Unless you find someone desparate...but even then, $25 may not be worth the hassel.
I would just cut it up and throw it away, piece by piece, pizdets! lol

Being up north there might be a miata owner in need of a replacement after their's rusted out. Post it on craigslist. Even in two pieces they can use an exhaust clamp to put it back together.

Removing the brace and dropping the whole thing down would be easier, faster and you won't have to run a sawzall while on your back (**** flying in your face).

Edit: just remembered you said hacksaw. In that case, it's even worse.

A timely question for me since I am going to get rid of my stock exhaust next week. I was wondering whether it was worth trying to save any of the stock stuff or just let the exhaust shop have it. I think I'll stick with Plan A and let them keep it.

Sell the cat for scrap unless they give you a cut rate for letting you keep it. The cat alone is worth $50-100 to people who know what to do with them.

I was thinking the same thing...mine's removed, no cutting...but has been sitting in my garage for months wondering if anyone is really buying stock exhausts....Gotta find the local scrap yard, if it makes sense..
What do you guys suppose they'll give us for it?

Good point. I'll have to check around and see if there is a local recycler that buys old cats.

On a related note, cat theft...
