Check on mazda-speed.com
The MAF is not the initial reason for the fuel cut. The ECU will cut power if the boost exceeds 11psi or so.

And as for walking vettes you are asking a lot out of that little IHI turbo.

You don't need a full Fm2 kit. I would just buy the manifold turbo and downpipe. Make your own charge pipe to mate up with the factory charge pipes on the hot side and leave the cold side alone.
As for engine management you can now get a plug and play megasquirt.

my fault thats what i was getting at was what u listed, ive already got and intake and ic and a buddy of mine runs a machine shop so were making all hard pipes. i will admit ive been slackin on researching engine management so im not completly sure on what all will be useful to my setup in the spring and that will be best for future advancements

The stock injectors max out at 12 psi & 93 octane gas. Water meth injection allowed me to run 14 to 15 psi with stock injectors & it was not too expensive. To walk a newer vett is asking a lot out of a mazdaspeed mx5 turbo.

You have to do boost cut bypass resistor mod to the boost sensor to get around the boost cut without getting a CEL. Or disconnect & plug the vacuum line going to the 3 way solenoid valve & boost sensor, but the CEL will come on.

Your gauge may be lying to you. I have pushed my car to its very limits before. When the atmospheric conditions were just right with 93 octane gas & TPS disconnected the most boost I could run was 12.25 lbs anything above that you will begin to hear the marbles in the cylinders sounds of detonation. If the atmospheric conditions were not just right I would have to turn my boost down to as low as 10.5 psi at times because I could hear detonation sounds.

Water meth makes a huge difference in torque & hp. If you can get a water meth kit get one. What does it feel like? Each gear you go up it feels like it pulls harder & the higher up in the rpm it goes it feels like it pulls harder. 14.5 psi with water meth seems to be a sweet spot on my car.

You have to be so tired of telling people that.
