Oh cause thats probably the smallest car I have sat in, but is the miata worth buying for speed like instead of buying a Jetta or a GTI? I was also looking at a mazdaspeed protege.

Dude.. do some research. MSP sucks, breaks motors at relatively low hp. Altogether kind of a failure car.

Miata is win. But nothing like a jetta or gti.

Both of the above are my opinions.

S2000 has more room than a Miata. Judging by your car selection I would say you should probably stick with a VW. They are worth "buying for speed"

S2000 more room than Miata? Are you on crack?
Yes, it is a bigger car, but my friends s2000 is way tighter to sit in than my Miata.

Yep, but the S2K is 2x the car...if it's not stolen.

I have seen people that are 6'2" in a stock miata and they look pretty packed in there. 6'2" in a S2000 looks to be a comfortable fit.

Why is this not an m.net thread...I'm talking about the stupid question in post number 1, not the rainbows.

I'm 6'1" and about 200 lbs. I have owned two NA Miatas, and driven one first-gen S2K.

Both are decent cars. I found the Honda to be a much tighter fit in all regards- not uncomfortable, but by comparison the Miata seems roomy.

It's a tough decision. The S2K in stock trim is a good deal quicker, though they're also a fair bit costlier. For the same money and a bit of elbow grease, you can build a faster Miata, if you have patience, mechanical skill, and some experience.

In the end, though, it really does come down to what sort of image you wish to project about your sexual orientation.

Miata or S2k...
I'd have to say, since in the 5 years of owning my car and hearing countless insults mostly at work...I guess I'm a full blown faggett.
That being said...the next day I always hear, "that little green ---- box you drive MOVES".

Sounds like you want to pose, so go buy a posers car.

No one buys miatas for the image, obviously, and yet they are the most raced car in history..... wonder if they are worth 'making go faster'?
