Default Boss Frog, Sprints, and Harnesses Installed

Thanks to my Manufacturing Engineering internship, I've made a lot of money this summer and here's where some of it went. Boss Frog Clearview Maxx, Sparco Sprint V's, and RCI 5-point camlock harnesses. Each of them made a huge difference to the car, and I'm very pleased with it all.

Looks great! I'd be nervous about buying non-reclining seats for my DD. How are those working out? That setup looks like it would really hold you still. Like the headlamp covers too.

Seats were from Speedware, contact Kelly for the mt.net discount, harnesses were from Jegs. I never realized how much effort I put into holding myself in the seat until I didn't have to anymore, plus I think they're more comfortable than the stock seats.

A few questions:
-Did you just wrap one of the harness around your roll bar?

-How did you mount the seat? Sliders? Bolted to floor? Sidemount?

-Are you sitting below the roll bar in this setup?

-What did you use to secure crotch belt harness? Body washer? Does the 5pt hurt your *****?

-And finally, your car looks sick, and has almost exactly the same interior I am going for, minus a new steering wheel. Any more pics of the car?

I got wraparound style harnesses, so both sets of shoulder harnesses are wrapped around the roll bar, as suggested by Boss Frog.

The seats are mounted on stock sliders, and my head is about 2" below the top of the bar (I'm 5'10").

The crotch belt is currently just using one of the front seat mounting bolts, and touches my thighs but doesn't put any uncomfortable pressure on me

These are Sprint 5's, the Sprints were redesigned in 2007 I believe.

I hope your not serious about running the harnesses like that. Definately not Safe. Boss Frog makes a harness bar for like $150. Other than that, the setup looks nice. Good Job.

They show a picture with harnesses set up exactly like mine and recommend the harnesses to be wrapped around just like mine. They even quote the SCCA rule book, explaining how this setup complies with it. They only made the harness bar because a few tech inspectors didn't like it being offset from the center of the seat.

Oh..ok. I did not know that. Well, if its in the rule book, then that means I'm going to save 10lbs and $150 not buying that bar. Sweet. LoL
