Default Largest gathering of turbo Miatas in Houston EVER!!111oneone

So on Saturday, 5 turbo Miatas converged upon Matt's house, including Stephanie's and Arkmage's. We took pictures, talked about Miatas, worked on Miatas, gave rides, the typical thing.

Funny story, Matt's car had a loose oil drain line on the turbo, so we had to jack it up and tighten it. The guys jacked it up, then Stephanie went under to do it herself. It was a funny scene, 5 guys standing around a jacked up car talking to each other, while the girl works under the car.

Anyways, after that we took pics and went to a local car show. Here's the good stuff...

Obligatory mt.net sticker thanks to Arkmage! I've got 2 on my windows but they're smaller.

Rest are here... http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b2.../HDR%20photos/

I saw your old car Friday after the club meeting. It now has black fenders, bumper and hood. I'd seen it once before that, but had no idea it was your old car. Small world.

You do look weird in that pic. I didn't even know about Miatas back then.

I believe so. Guy use to live down the street from me. He had the nicest miata I have seen to date.

93 LE with everything done just right. Had a FMIII on it.

Cant believe that was 7 years ago. LoL The local club was in its heyday. I the previous dyno day had a page about it in either SCC or Turbo Magazine. 2 club members had cars featured sometime that year also.

We need a southwest dyno day. Wait, no, screw that. Texas is big enough, we'll have a TEXAS dyno day.

HDR does not mean burn our retinas out with ungodly amounts of color saturation and lack of tone depth.

Dam ill never get to experience something like this. There like 15 to 20 miata out here and about 5 of us that actually buy **** for it. And im the only turbocharged NA theres like one NB that races at the track...ONE. Otherwise the other two are supercharged and the other one is a 90 with a 1.8 swap with all the bolt on you can think off.. even COP's.

I am trying to get a "dyno" run in for the Miata Round up this year. Do not know if it will happen, but maybe we could do it afterwards.
