Default need a ecu to remove maf

i want to remove the maf on my car short of spending 1000 on a standalone can i do this with a e-managa ultimate or would the corksport map ecu work better?
any other ideas

In theory, it can be done with the Ultimate, but I've only heard of one fella actually going through with it. Seems like the Megasquirt would be the best option, as it'd allow removal of the AFM plus provide full control of fueling and injection, among other things.

And it's cheaper.

seriously.

say you run an emanage. add the wiring harness, the support tool, the communication cable, the AFPR, the fuel pump, the injectors, O2 clamp, the fittings, the added hardware and you're between 600 to 850. you can get a link with an air temp sensor, injectors, and keypad, maybe a knock sensor for $1000 and you have literally an incredibly more flexible, solid, safer management in place. not to mention the product support.

i have nothing against the emanange and i'm really pleased with the gains it makes, wish it was available when i had my greddy kit, but it's still a bunch of band-aids in comparison.
