Let's come up with a new hood design.

The hood looks amazing!...but the flares have my heart for now, lol! When do you anticipate starting a production run on the lidless hoods? I'm thinkin this will be my Christmas gift .... The flares and the hardtop were just a, "you deserve it"...
What the hell is that you use to make the molds??
No bashin dogs...I love my damn pup more than anything!

The pieces are first sprayed with a liquid that turns into a thing layer of green plastic. Then I spray gelcoat over that in a contrasting color to what the parts will be. After that, I start laying 4-6 layers of fiberglass depending on how big the part will be. The hoods were done with 6 and the fender flares were done with 4. Pretty easy, but you just have to watch for any bubbles in the glass where it didn't go down right.

Lidless hoods will be made soon, but I want to stop giving an anticipated date at this point due to the fact that I don't know how much time I can alot to this right now. As of now i am working on it a little every night, but I don't have all day to do it like I had. If we get nothing other than these deer stands in the next week, then I would anticipate I could be pumping these out in less than two weeks. I just can't tell you definitively when I can start. It is all work load related.

Gel coat to give the inside of the mold a smooth finish..
And fiberglass for structure...
The bubbles I presume would just cause defects and blemishes...

I have no desire to make a new bumper. To get that symmetric, a design that doesn't kill me to do, and one that will sell well, is a pain in the *** I don't want to deal with. No offense. I am open to ideas, but have little to no desire for that.
