I'd appreciate any help!

GT500 heat extractor easily mounted on Civic, I suspect this could be done on a Miata pretty easily

Did not see your question until now. Right now we are not making anything else as the shop is back to full capacity and more work than we can handle. In the future it is a slim possibility, but I wouldn't bet on it.

necro thread.

I saw this hood in yahoo auctions and I can't remember who makes it, but its not custom. Went for a decent price too. Someone could buy it, work on it to how the community wants it and then produce a new mold from it

Better off with these style of vents on our funky hoods.

I haven't, but may have some time this weekend to give it a go. I need to obtain some tufts first.

Take a length of toilet paper and twist it into a tuft shape.

It was a failed attempt at a joke.

I only buy quality, triple ply toilet paper. It would be a waste to use it on the car, although, it could always be re-used. I'll get some yarn.

Is the gt500 vent too wide to move any further forward than on the black car? Any more pictures?

I've seen some people cut a section out of the gt500 vent. Looks kind of funky with the seam, though.

It's about as far forward as I could get it. Not much left of the outside of the hood near the headlight covers. I had to clear the 92mm throttle body and the lowest section in the vent sits right on top of the TB lip. I can't move it forward or back much with the ls6.

No tuft test this weekend. I spent all day replacing the motor mounts and still need to put v-band flanges on the headers before the car is driveable again.
