Default simple question, yes i searched

i'm finishing up swapping a protege 1.8 into my 93. the plug wires off my 93 were too short, i assumed because of the difference in bore spacing between the 1.6 and 1.8. so i bought a set of wires for a 95 miata, and those too were too short.

i think my next step is going to be to get a set of wires for a 93 or so protege. they had a distributor instead of a coil pack, so the wire needed to go a little further to reach around to the back...

anyone have advice before i buy another set of wires on an assumption?

Buy a new set of 1.8L wires? I've had several sets of NAPA/AutoZone wires and they all seem to have plenty of slack

Try another set. Thay're not all made the same. I know for a fact the NGKs are rather short. Cockmaster.
Maybe you can unbolt the coil-pack and attach it somewhere else?
