LINK LC-1 install HELP!!
Alright... I think the name is self explanitory... I'm this far... seperated the wires white and blue to go to the link. The rest are staying in the engine compartment according to directions from http://www.lightweightmiata.com/wbo2/wbo2.htm ... My question is is it the same with a 6wire config as a 7 wire config? it seems odd to me that only 3 wires are going to be connected to something other than ground...?
Thoughts... Advise... All welcome and appreciated!
PS. yes I have done a search and I have even posted in some threads but to no avail of help

I hooked mine up over a year ago. Don't remember anything because, well it was an uneventful install.
From lightweightmiata:
Yes, there are three grounds from the controller. DO NOT anchor the GREEN Analog Ground with anything else.
I just downloaded v1.9 of the manual and I can't see anything confusing there.
From lightweightmiata:
Connect the WHITE and GREEN ground wires from the LC-1 control box and the BLACK wires from the LED and switch to the engine block
and from the LC-1 Manual v1.9 * 3.1 If you have an LC-1 with only 7 stripped ends the wiring is as follows:
a. Red 12V supply
b. Blue Heater Ground
c. White System Ground
d. Yellow Analog out 1
e. Brown Analog out 2
f. Green Analog Ground
g. Black Calibration wire
yet you said:b. Blue Heater Ground
c. White System Ground
d. Yellow Analog out 1
e. Brown Analog out 2
f. Green Analog Ground
g. Black Calibration wire
white and blue to go to the link
So that might cause a problem.Yes, there are three grounds from the controller. DO NOT anchor the GREEN Analog Ground with anything else.

not totally uneventful
The only reason I stated that is because my analog signal was whacked until I isolated the ground from the power ground. Throughout my entire project I've had bad experience sharing power grounds with signal grounds every time. So I'll leave it in agreement that grounds are usually the culprit if there are issues.

worked on the car from 6 til 4am... LC-1 is installed and was a huge biotch to install. gauge still isnt wired because i was too tired. Coolant re-route is done utilizing most stock parts... looks pretty sweet too! did some other little things round the car... like mess with timing... ended up ripping the motor apart 3 times to fix timing(1 tooth off on the sprockets

Alright huge question, After I installed the WB i took the car for a ride... it doesnt like to idle when cold (normal for my link), but as soon as you step on the gas the car sputters and wants to die.. it even backfired once. Is this because I need to tune it with the WB? or is this a timing issue? @idle timing is at 10*
