Default Miata World 09

What a stinkin rip off for the guy that just wants to drive up for the day and see some cool miata's. They say that if you don't pay up $300 you can't come. Well you know what....I just want to look at the cars in the parking lot. I bet I can park across the street and walk to your parking lot for free....rant over....f"in m netters

In case it gets deleted here is my response

"Well, I really didn't want it to come to this and I hoped you would have mentioned what I'm about to mention below. I really don't see a way for you to force an admission fee for your parking lot. I'll be the guy that stays at the ******* under my corporate rate on the same weekend of your event and walks around the parking lot checking out all of the miata's for free."......owned

I really love the idea of a huge miata gathering and I praise these guys for getting it all together...just don't tell us to bend over. There will probably be so many people doing what I said that we could start our own car show at the parking lot across the street...haha

Hell, I might even stay at the Holiday in down the road and drive over to check out all the cars. Guys there should be a lot of nice rides out there but don't for a minute think you have to pay $300 to go over and check them out. Whose up for the "I didn't pay $300" cruise to Miata World 09.

It better come with something...I would want to get to kick an m.net mod in the sack for that price, especially considering it's an m.net sponsored "car show" so you know every single miata there will be bone stock and "unmolested" with ONLY OEM mazda light bulbs and washer fluid installed...

I bet there will be some sweet rides....please go over to m.net and post some reality checks about that $300....f**k it's not like we drive Ferrari's. I'm going because it will be sweet to see that many miata's but I'm not paying their stupid fee.

Sounds like a gay version of the Karuizawa Roadster Meet - except in the US.

Although if they are giving out $300 ********, I guess I can be there >:3

Ooooh, this one is hard. Do I spend a weekend at the track, do I buy new race rubber for the car or do I go to this posh $300 car show?

I thought the Miata was supposted to be a cheap sports car? Who are these guys trying to attract to this even?

What would you do to your car with the $300? I think that is the question, we just have too much on the TO DO LIST.

All of us who can afford these bonafide collector cars should not bitch and moan about a $300 car show ticket.

Wow, I live in Dallas, I'm not short on cash and I won't even consider going to that thing for $300. My office is about 15 minutes from there so maybe if I end up working that weekend I'll swing by, park across the street and walk over. I have a feeling all the cars worth seeing will be across the street from the event though

Miatas are pretty gay looking. I don't understand why anyone would have a show car miata, much less a miata specific car show. That's alot of rainbow in one lot.

I could care less about the 85% wine and cheese bull they are going to have.

here is a map of the 8-mile journey from my house to the event:

I'll make sure to roll by and do some burnouts.

On a side note, you could go to "Miatas at Hallett" in Tulsa for $150 and get to drive, get faded at the hotel, and have a pretty damn good time around people with testosterone, who actually get on the track.
