Miata World? What is this a Nopi like event for the wine and cheezers? I bet the Mach 5 show's up.
The Miata's at Hallett for $150 sounds like a good time. Factor in another $40 for a flea bag motel, $50 for beer and food, you've still got another $60 left to spend on the strippers.

We have a pretty big miata track crew in Dallas, and we're all pretty serious about lap times, and not one of us will go to this ------ miata world ****. Unfortunately you're in the heart of the bible belt, so you won't find any strippers, but you will find a large gay population, which is great for NB drivers.
Oh, and running at TMS is about the gayest **** you can endure in your life. Its flat, boring, stupid, more flat, ******* boring, and more flat:
I'd rather watch competitive elephant ejaculation than drive out there.

Hello blacj jesau (nice name...).
This is not a track event. To compare this to Hallett that by the way is a great track, is like comparing a Prom to a night at the movies. There is no comparison.
if you want to go to a track event, then sign up for one and enjoy it just like we do. You have a nice day too!

I am resurrecting this thread because it has win potential.
So who seriously wants to free-crash this thing? I live near San Antonio and would be willing to drive up and check it out if there are some like-minded individuals who want to meet up. I am not wanting to hang out with the boost-spoils-the-balance purists without some backup. Boring.
Too bad it is not closer to the Hill Country. We could organize a great alternative drive, at my usual alternative speeds, that would be a lot more fun than that TMS road course. MSRC (motorsportsranch.com) is way better and not too far away though I do not know if there will be a way in that weekend, like a non-member track day. I race there often, but it is on two wheels so I do not know much about the four wheel events.
If there is a CMRA race that weekend then all bets are off for me since I'll be racing. I do not know yet though since the schedule will not be out for awhile.

If it wasn't such a long drive I'd seriously get in on it.
Those who go free-crash it should make some t-shirts stating their purpose.
Some stupid bitch up here in KC told me if I wanted to attend the National Eureka Springs gathering and participate in their "drive" I had to pay like $20.00. Told her I'm not a sucker and I'm not paying her a ******* dollar, AND went on the drive!
Now that I've typed that, I REALLY wanna go crash Miataworld........

renegade attendees are welcome on my pillow-pile in my harem any time.
oh look here, the renegade miata crew is putting together another track day!!!
TDR @ MSR Miata Track Event May 22, 2009 - dfwmiata.com
There are roughly 15 of us who will provide free entertainment. There will be at least 15 blown cars there, so there's a good mix of power and some good drivers too.

Ahh, sweet, thanks for the link. Now that is what I am talking about; skip the wine and cheese for some real fun. I am up for that track day and will keep an eye on that thread for more details. I'd like to get on the 1.7 at MSR in my car and see how I can do against my best bike time, which is a low 1:24 CCW on a SV650.
