How much do you actually have the trim? I need the wider seat (wieght lifter) but apparently its not going to be pretty. I currently have my stock seat 2 clicks off all the way back, but my head sticks out the top of the car.

Can I reshape the center tunnel and leave the door panel on if I trim the seat? Any ideas of much I'll have to trim.

At $600 for both with the mounts, I really want these to work.

Thanks for the help guys.

Its not my legs that are long, its my torso. I'm trying to get my head off the roll bar, and out of the headliner.

I'd rather people think I were gay than watch nascar. :gay:

Seriously, I don't fight people ever. All it takes is one crazy dude with a knife or gun...or one guy to yank an eyeball out. I'm lost some weight since I tore a pectoral minor.

I did have to get out of the car once when some dude's were messing with me. It was just some little punks, and when I got out fo that car, they may have actually lost bowel control. Thats only 206lb...I'm down to 174 now, and getting leaner.

not bad i would have guesed 210 i topped at 220 myself. now i am at 230 but still as strong just not as prettily defined, i need to get back into it i am
5 10 1/2 BTW. The deadmans pedal removal alowed me to slouch differently and made entry and exit easier. I have heard of some people taking the padding out of the seat to allow more haed room. i dont know the dimensions on the sparcos but this would help on the stockers. I find it also helps to put one hand on my hardtops top and pull myself out keeping the level with the hand on top and one posting on the floor. You might as well work on your miatas hp while you are down make it 1 lbs per lbs of bench, i have been thinking of doing the same myself. What do you do for a living? Also i noticed it took quite abit of seat time in the car before the seats spread out for my torso. The faom there is most likely very new therfore stif it can be worn down and will get better with time.

I need more headroom than the foam abortion provides. I also don't want to surf the seat when on the track.

I'm an analyst for DHS. Unfortunatly I just bought coilovers, might buy seats, and am about to get a trans rebuilt for my daily driver, so I don't need to spend any more cash on this car after the seats. I also need to learn to drive the car before I stick a bunch of power on it and wreck it up.

I've been back in the gym for 4 days now, doing light upper body rehab, and severe lowerbody destruction, while cutting and incorporating some HIIT. I plan to be back full strength in about a month. I had a great ART doctor.

there was a kid (seriously, he was 16 or 17) in michigan that i met a few times who had modified his sparcos to fit in his NA. he had a decent pictoral and instructions on his car domain or personal website. i think on m.net he goes by "92mx5r". he had a turbo '92 but sold it and built up a custom system on a low-mileage '94. good luck!

Yeah, I've been thinking about that too. I might just buy these sparco's and resale/barter for some "roadsters."

I wonder if since my legs are shorter, if I'll have to cut less to get them in the car with the hard top?
