Default MSM just painted

I just had my MSM repainted back to full velocity red glory!

It was painted by JR's in Saint Mary's Ga, with PPG paint. They did a full repaint and some body work. Now I need a roll bar and some black 6ul's.

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost?

I eventually plan on repainting my black mica and am not looking foreword to what the paint is going to cost since it's fairly rare.

Looks fantastic btw.

Cost really depends on the shop the amount of corrective body work is needed, the brand of paint they use, and what you want. All said the work on my car was just north of 2k.

Full repaint? The engine bay/door jams too? Beautiful finish btw! Love how we can see the clouds reflection.

Full repaint, not a color change so the underhood and door jams were not repainted.

Agree. It looks great. Mine needs paint so bad, but I don't see myself ever being able to justify the price to actually do it.

So wouldn't it be >? Have you tried claybar and wax? It can do wonders to older paint. Albeit, yours won't need it anytime soon lol.

once clear is just about gone, claybar and wax can only do so much, and even then are a temporary solution. tried it on my previous nb before repainting it. definitely worked wonders, but still wasn't 100% awesome like new paint was.

I had to get a full repaint my car had been hit and run in a parking lot during a snow storm in Va, plus rock chips on the front bumper, and the hard top didn't match the rest of the car.

Repaint = Double the value for a great looking MSM! Wish I could swap my 03 out for one...

Looks great. Love NB2's with hardtops.

Will look even more spectacular with 6ul's.
