Congratulations!

How old is she? Your first?

Having a little girl really brings out the protective side in a dad.

Yep...my wife does not hate mine but she is not very fond of it. So we just drive one of the other cars when we go somewhere togther.

Call it a unique way of recommending you observe forum etiquette and read the stickies, put you location in your profile, and try a post in the Meet 'n Greet section first. I just get bored typing out the same old thing...

I don't get how people put up with whining like that. If your wife gets his panties all up in a bunch over a damn car, I can only imagine what else they are willing to complain about.

My fiancee loves both of my Miata's. She even wants to get an NC. I had complainers like that in the past, hence the fact they are in the past. You shouldn't put up with someone who wants you to stop doing the things you love. You will just end up miserable in the end. If your really not happy, you shouldn't stay with her because of what a divorce would cost you. Happiness > money (usually).

Haha, my dad quit racing when I was 13 because he rolled his D-stock Si autocrossing and mom was livid.
