Sold my miata BUT!
It was sad watching the Miata drive off earlier, especially knowing that this kid would murder it. I had big plans for it but never really pushed it into motion... not really sure why.
ANYWAYS
HERES THE BUT!
I just picked up this
And putting it into this
I bought a fmII kit (little used and a bit incomplete but nothing i cant piece together from a local hardware store) and a 2000 miata from an insurance company. The guy who owned it ran something over and his airbags deployed so they auctioned it off. The car had 50k miles so i knew i HAD to jump on the opportunity! The suspension is blown but thats ok because i kept my Tein coilovers. Haven't been on this website for a bit but now that im actually going to boost my car, i'm going to be on here quite often i think

That looks like my old FMII kit, but my kit went off to KY. Funny thing is, he's putting it on an 2000 as well, hah.
Good luck with your build. The FM kit is really nice, I installed it with ease as my first turbo setup. You'll enjoy it.
BTW I would recommend un-bolting the motor mounts and jacking up the engine so you can fit the manifold+turbo together. You don't want to bang up the driver's side of your engine bay frame too much!

Thanks. I loved my NA but it had 160k on all original parts. instead of spending too much getting it tuned up i decided to get something a bit newer. I don't know how i feel about the green but it'll have to do... Funny thing is i bought the kit before i bought the car! i didn't want the same thing to happen with my NA where i procrastinated for too long on performance.
