I told him to please not go over 6500rpms during any pulls. I was nervous enough having it on the dyno, I didn't want to take any chances going any higher.
I might pull some timing just to be safe, even though he assured me it was good to go. The car pulls strong and feels good. I don't hear anything that sounds bad, but then again I don't know if I would hear anything until it was too late.
First order of business on the list tomorrow is to pull the turbo and wastegate out again and fix this ******* exhaust leak. The car looks mint, but sounds like ****. Figures the only gasket I left in the exhaust system is the one that blew. I can feel the puffs of air coming from where the wastegate mounts to underneath the manifold.

Yeah...gaskets are fail.
Damn fine numbers. For the T28 compressor maps I've seen I'd say it's easy for you to be in high enough efficiency at 13psi to make those numbers when combined with a bigass intercooler and your huge (for a 250whp 1.6L) exhaust.
Your peak torque never gets over 230...which is to be expected with stock manifold...and tapers off just like everyone else's.
For a street car all that really matters is how fast it is to you. You might consider backing out a little timing for a daily map and save that dyno tune for when you need it, or considering a little "super blue" as a safety blanket. Can't hurt.

Wow, low advance at idle. Well, ok, not really. :-)
Yeah, I feel you always should - accel is only for fixing accel specific settings.
I dunno enough about actual tuning to have a good idea of what to look for, but I will say one thing - I've gone through several sets of rods, the occaisional piston. Till I put on an EGT gauge and a knocksense. Since then, I've never really had to touch anything mechanical at all.
GET a knock sensor, and I keep an eye on my EGT's, and I can cruise at 17.5:1. :-)

I just got back from my first REAL trip in the car, about 100 miles to and from (had to put electrical heating cable on my GF's parents roof). The entire drive I was watching my oil pressure gauge, listening for an explosion, avoided getting run off the road by a semi, etc etc. The car seems happy. It cruises fine and has power whenever I ask for it.
I will say this though, the car used alot more gas now with this setup. I just filled it up before I left and I'm already at 3/4 of a tank. I'm going to need a part time job just to afford ******* gas! And good thing the hood pins are going in tomorrow because the son of a bitch hops up and down like a **** on ****.
I agree I need to get with it and pick up a knock sensor and a EGT gauge. I already ordered the laptop mount so I can cruise around and have the megatune screen right beside me when I want it.

What would you estimate your gas mileage to be? No reason you can't get high 20's.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I was driving like an *** or anything. Pretty much 60-70mph the entire time, with a few exceptions where I got on it a little just to play around on the open road. I was pretty much in 5th at 4000rpms 75% of the drive. I can just tell that this new setup is using way more gas than the greddy setup did. But like they say, if you wanna play you gotta pay right.

If it's rich when cruising I don't care what you do with your right foot, you will get shitty gas mileage.
Vash, what are your cruising afr's?

My LC1 isn't working properly, so I have no idea. I need to recalibrate it. After I installed it I never did a free air calibration so it just always says 14.9-15.0.
I'm going to add that to tomorrows to do list. Don't have the jack here to get to the sensor, otherwise I'd do it now while its fresh in my head.

Yea, you need to and then report back your idle and cruising afr's. I'm betting it's rich. You should be getting well over 200 miles to a tank of gas with normal driving. 200 miles to a tank is somewhere around 20 mpg's.
Get us a datalog as well.
