Default My First Race w/ New Setup

Well, like the title says I got in a illegal competion of speed this evening against a 240sx, with mods he said he was running a mid-13. Not sure of all the mods. I am still running on 12psi and haven't bumped it up yet, so I didn't really know how I was going to hold up against a mid-13. Well...I beat him by about 5-6 car lengths along about a quater mile. I felt that the first kill story should be published.

Now all I need to do is start turning up the boost.................

Haha, I'll probably start playing with that this weekend.

I have my vacuum line for the Boost Gauge - Boost Controller - Fuel Pressure Regulator all tied in together. When I hit wastegate pressure the boost gauge is going crazy from 10-15 psi, but looking at datalogs it is staying a stable 12psi with a slight creep. What should I look for that would create this issue?

you should try getting boost maybe from the brake master cly boost line. BEGI use to have a small adapter with bunch of nipples. Might make it more stable

You should post it over there anyway, just so we can watch the mods get their panties all wadded up.

I am going to tinker with it some tomorrow. I thought that 1/4" hose would have been enough to take care of those things. If I still have troubles after tomorrow I will post with further information. Thanks for input.

Congrats!

I beat a 240sx not long ago, it had a huge I/C and no bov. Never figured out what he actually had but I did manage to yell "LoL it's a turbo" as I passed him.

Lets meet at the track sometime so I can make you look good hahaha.
And when do I get to ride in this beast?

Disgraceful behavior - says he who got nicked at 130.1mph and disqualified from driving when I was somewhat older than you.

First kills are sweet

My first kill was extra sweet Chrysler 300C (Hemi) with big chrome rims. The look on his face, at the next light, was like I took his manhood away

My first kill was a yuppy and his girlfriend/wife in his bright yellow late model 911 convertible, license plate, TOPLE55. They were cool about it though and gave me thumbs up afterwards.
