You do realize how large the Houston metro area is and the area that surrounds the "Houston" city limits that actually pretty much still falls into Houston.

I'm being serious. In two minutes you bead up with sweat. If I have to I'll drive without. But an A/c is more of a concern than a turbo on a daily driver. When we drop the top, we roll up the windows and turn the a/c on. Otherwise you stink when you stop to eat a nice dinner.

I would like to stick you in DFW rush hr trafic with the top down, sun beating you like a heat lamp, and say turn the fan on. It feels like a sweet heater.

I understand saving face and the love of a turbo. But to say we are ******. I am 5'10 190 lbs and have been in over 55 fights literally. And have won every one on one fight, some fights against two people. And that is not BS. That is being a white boy in the southern getto school.

I appreciate that yes Tx is hot and if I were there I'm probably gonna want some AC for comfort. I also think I seriously want a turbo in my life which I don't have right now and probably wont for a good long while because of gay insurance in the UK. I've had cars here that don't have A/c. And I have friends that took their A/C off too. Taking the A/C and powersteering off can help a na miatas power. It just falls to personal preferance and what you want out of your car.

I would watch here and ebay for a used kit. I've seen greddy kits go for $450-$600.
I got a motor, transmission and a FM turbo for $850. With shipping a total of $1050.00.

You will get there like the rest of us. I'm still not turbo'ed and I've been on it since Oct 07. I hope I will be finished in a few weeks. Most everyone here starts with bandaids. We are all thrifty, cheap or broke, with a few exceptions.
