sweet, I've been going back and forth about getting HID's. I even have almost those same ebay headlights, except mine have a transparent "projector" in the middle instead of the reflector yours has.

I think HID conversions, especially without proper housings are for ricers. even the OEM ones blind me.

When driving home at night I seriously can't see my headlights over the street lights. They suck.

Exactly. When I drove next to doppleganger's car last week, I couldn't see my headlamps next to his. It was like they weren't even on. He has MSM projectors w/ HID.

Mine are just like that, except silver instead of black inside. There don't seem to be any on ebay right now.

Because you can get good bright *** lights that's are not HID for your car. I've driven a 95 that had the high performance Sylvania's in it and it was PLENTY of light, 5x what my stock 99 has.

If youre going to do it, at least get a set of real projectors. The moss kit is very nice from what I understand.

Damn, I would have bought those if I had seen them. If the ones I did get don't work out, I'll order ones like yours.

Yeah and I speed too. While talking on my cell phone, getting a blow job, cutting my own hair, and watching a movie.

I was considering getting HID's but I live in NY so headlights are practically useless with our street lights anyway.

Ok go paint your cam gears whatever color you decided and put eBay conversion HID's in your car and we will all agree that's not ricing out your car I've never used that kit but most of them are terrible. They throw more damn light in other people's eyes than they do on the road. A real projector setup would be good, but that setup would not be.

^ I gotta agree.

I hate the ricer HID's conversions and all of them exhibit the characteristics you mention and that is the reason why I dont want to put em in. I think I can get more light on the road with E-codes.

They're better than stock, but not if you use the ricer blue bulbs that come with them. I currently have Hella bulbs in mine, and like I said they're better than stock, but that's not saying much. My GTI with cheap halogens is still better, and neither of them compare to my parents' cars with HID's or my buddy's S2000.

I've never seen ecodes in real life.

i'm going to have to agree that when ricers with hids in the wrong housings pass me coming the other way I have to hope I can remember the road because I can no longer see it. Especially in the rain.
