how to tell 1.6 from 1.8

Recessed lettering on cam cover (MK1 1.8's are raised)
CAS on the intake cam on 1.6, exhaust on 1.8
Coilpack locations vis versa to the CAS
Thermostat housing has a temp sender in it and mounts horizontally not vertically
Intake manifold droops down
TPS is a square block with 3 wires
Intake manifold has a block bolted to the intake manifold above the injectors with oolant pipes running to it (Wax bleed valve).
Block has B6 embossed on it, 1.8 is BP
Probably more but that's enough.
