Default NB peeps, lets see your steering wheel

My wheel is in pretty rough shape. I want to change it but I don't know to what. Post pics of what you have please.

Thanks!

Perfect timing on this thread, I'm considering options for my '99 as well. Can we get information and feedback for what hub (or release if applicable) you're using please?

I will have pictures tomorrow. I am installing a MSM wheel in my NB.

Got it for less than an aftermarket wheel, has the air bag, and I do not have to worry about a hub.

Any issues with bending? I've twisted this junk NRG into a pretzel.

I absolutely love it.
About as close to OEM as it gets while being sportier and sexier IMO

OEM nardi out of a JDM (that's right ) rx7 fd twin turbo.

No airbag (but looks like there is). Mounted right up. Feels really solid and...uhh, GOOD. LOL
I had a generic Ebay one on before that, worked, but it felt like a 40 dollar wheel and I hated that.

I'm not sure on the dimentions, but its just a tad bit smaller than the NB nardi. Like half an inch smaller in diameter. It looks like its made for this car and should have been on there all along. And I love that.

very funny.. it's satin black with a black perf leather grip... not chrome / wood!

I use the daikei hub from rspeed.

Even closer to OEM

Here is the MSM wheel I just installed in the 99 sport. Perforated leather grips on the sides. Feels like the wheel is physically smaller (diameter) as well.

What's with your shifter? Looks as long as my T56 shifter. Newfangled JDM "longshifter" kit?

was probably trying out an extender. i wanted to see if I could get the **** high enough to keep my elbow from banging into the center console.

when I lowered my seat, it moved my monkey arms too far down.

Try removing the console. It frees up a lot of room.

Frank- You need to modify a bolt for your shifter.

I have a shortened shifter from somewhere. It's not overly tall but probably on the order of where Y8s is. I can always cut the shaft down and rethread it if I need to. If all the things stopping me from having this car on the road, the shifter height ain't one of them. me ->

Some day maybe. This is a street car primarily. I like storing stuff in the console.

Sparco 383. It's cool. It's comfy. The seude turns to leather in about a year unless I wanted to look like an idiot and wear glove while driving. I had a MOMO Competition in my old car and loved that as well.
