I now have rapper dans old Mata. When I got it it had a blown head gasket and the pistons smacked the head which scored the cylinder walls so I replaced the motor with a 93 1.6 the motor has been rebuilt and balanced its in great shape but I put it in and got it in time I think it runs like CRAP and only under throttle it smokes unbelievably bad really bad I took the turbo of the mani and still smokes bad I'm lost when I first fired it up after the replace it sounded beautiful but I started to button everything up and now has no power once it dies it won't start again I don't know if there is a trick to the timing or anything with this car and yes it still has same turbo injectors the mega squirt and wastegate I can't get it running good enough to even take out of the driveway I'm lost need help bad thanks

Hi. First of all welcome to the forum and go ahead and put your location in your profile and post an intro thread and put up some pics of the car for those who don't remember rapperdan's miata or its setup and go ahead and post specifics about the setup and anything you know or think you know about the history of the car and the megasquirt gurus are probably going to want to see logs and possibly videos too because that can't hurt and I wish you all the best of luck trying to get it running hopefully it will soon.

Ok well I'm new to this kinda thing I drive a big rig so all I got is my phone for the internet and I'm not sure how to add pics here but there is some pics on Craig's list in Nashville tn and as for details on the setup its the same thing the rx7 injectors tuned on 12 psi the turbonetics turbo I have plenty of pics on my phone if you go to Craig's list my number is there if there is a way to add pics here by phone please tell me
