yes there would be major issues when taking a top from a porsche and slapping it on to a mazda. but im not saying here is the top you need to use so use it. that would be daft!!! im just showing ppl my idea and hopping other ppl feed of that and create there own. The more ppl the more ideas! rember its for the greater good.

Yup, I know... I just adjusted it to something that would hopefully work for an actual production top.

Yes I'm lazy and used liquefy tool in PS. I couldn't tolerate that ugly bubble top any longer.

To me it fits the car better, and is probably more likely to be closer to a working model.

I'd kinda like to see that chopped onto the yellow Goodwin racecar. Hmm, wonder if there are any good profile shots...
I thought it was a widebody, guess not.

Yeah, it's the only thing gayer than owning a skunk.

Not bad! With some tweaking that would be very close to what we could do. That said.. the top of the side window isnt straight enough, the 1/4 window is too short and the roofline doesnt slope back far enough.
I'm still trying to find a 3d NC model that I dont have to pay $100 for. I may have to bite the bullet.

$100 is cheap if it is accurate! In fact I would like to know where you are buying it.

I dont need CAD accuracy, I just need to get some things worked out before we start doing it on a car by hand.

Do I see some evora in that yellow chop?
I think the first yellow chop may be closer to to how it would look. We really dont know yet.

This weekend I am paying the fiberglass guys a visit to look over the NB version prototype before we start making the production molds. I will be taking pictures of course.
If we can get our hands on an NC to use for a 6-8 weeks we're hoping to be ready to take NB orders in spring, NA in summer and NC in fall. Is there anyone in the St. Louis area with an NC we could use?

Yes, more useable was my entire goal from the beginning (besides looking good and improved aero). It will be a true hatchback that hinges in front of the rear glass about where a rollbar would be with a trunk lip that emulates the stock trunk (brake light and all) and opens with the trunk release.
These tops will also clear rollbars that OEM will not clear.
