Default New clutch

Anyone have a good source for an ACT clutch?

How much spinning will a stock clutch take!

I heard only the factory rotary engined Miatas can be turbo'd.

That's right, but the head gasket will fail with over 20psi.

I have bought clutches on ebay with good luck, but they were really cheap oems for crap cars.
94+ or use with a 1.8 flywheel

Thanks for the suggestions, .....for the vendors anyway! I had found one in another thread, but not the other.

Has anyone tried the HD plate with springs and one with 6 pucks? What is the difference at 6-12psi?

I heard you could only use a turbo which spins anti-clockwise

an ACT HD 6 or 4 puck clutch will hold a bit more TQ than the street disc, however they aren't as fun to engage in stop & go traffic.

I am already battling idle droop in stop go traffic, so dont need anymore hastle there. Better go with the springs I quess.

I have a stock ecu with a voodoo box. It idles well if I bring the rpms down slowly, like on overrun, but if I suprise it, it goes rich and sticks at 500 rpm.

the Idle drop is not normal, have you tweaked the voodoo leaner at least it is hitting 500 rpm and not dying i think of idle droop as dieing and not just low RPm idle.
