New member needing advise and help..
Hi all. as above im new to this site..
Followed a link from cr.net after thay could not help with my questions,
Been told all the FI experts are on this site...
Any way i have just brought a second hand greddy kit that is as follows,
TD05-16g turbo, S/S bannana type manifold, external wastgate,
This is to replace my current greddy turbo kit i.e log mani,td04 kit..
But i have been looking for any info on this type of kit?
But no one seems to have seen or heard much about it??
I would like to find out spec of turbo/photos of fitted kits/any general info realy..
Also want type of power and boost this can run..
The turbo is oil cooled only, which i would like to change to oil/water cooling.
So what turbo can i use, seems to run funny shaped flanges, or can i replace the centor section using my turbo snails??
As the turbo could do with a rebuild??
Is there any one running this same kit??

As far as I know, even the JDM kit came with a TD04-H mitsu turbo so if this indeed has a TD05 then there really isn't ANYTHING left from the original "kit". But I guess pictures will tell us everything...also so infor one you and your vehicle will get you long way on this site.

I have a fellow friend that has blown 3 engine with this turbo kit, mainly becoz of the piggyback failure.

Thats pretty much what i have..
I dont have all the intercooler pipe work and piggy back stuff..
But i will be running an emerald K3 stand alone ecu and a pwr water/air charger system,
so wont need to worry about that side of it..
I was told the car it was removed from was running 14psi boost, on what looks like a std shortnose engine, mite have a fatter headgasket?
Does that sound about right?
Supprisingly the manifold has not had any crack repair, but the wastgate has been moved.
Does any one know if the later td05-16g turbos centors will fit to the turbo snails?
As the one with the kit is oil feed only,so would like to run a water/oil cooled centor section of a later turbo!!??
