Did Hyper have a nitrous car?
He was renamed to PeterPan or something gay like that. He is basically a huge ******* retard ------ that pretends to know EVERYTHING and thinks he invented some new coolant re-route that he won't show anyone or tell anyone about. He was bullshitting in here for a long time and everyone flamed him and laughed at him. Eventually it got so out of hand that he got perma-banned, and most of his posts deleted.

I don't really think you're him, and no offense, but those sentences I bolded in my previous post are almost word for word the kind of **** he used to say.

Always thinking he's smarter than EVERYONE. Always saying "I have this awesome revolutionary idea" etc etc etc. Never actually sharing it. And the details he DID share were more stupid than my dogs turds.

"He is basically a huge ******* retard ------ that pretends to know EVERYTHING"

I lost it there.

I am not trying to prove that I am smarter than everyone.

It is a little intimidating when I am the only guy going a different route than everyone else. It pissed me off when people were knocking my set up and when I am trying to do something different than everyone else. It makes it hard not to be an *** and try to prove them wrong.

I applaud you for trying to be different, but I don't see how you plan to run 1.5's in a Miata with nitrous. Prove us wrong, that is the point isn't it?

Why cut him slack? He has to prove that he can go 1.5, if we cut him slack there wouldn't be as much drive to push him. He comes on here and claims 1.5's, and I want to see it. Nothing more nothing less.

Tell me about your drag racing experience. Have you run any good numbers? How can you even have a leg to stand on telling me that it is not possible?

You misunderstood me apparently. I encourage you to try for it, I just can't see it happening based on other numbers I have seen on Miata's. You can't come on a car site and claim to be able to do something no one else can, or claim to have possibly run faster than any other 200hp Miata and not have anything to prove it. I'm just saying you need to prove it.

Going a 13.16 is not proving it?

Go to drag times, and find a car that has run what I have with a similar set up or horsepower. Go to this site. I have the timeslip of the nitrous run in this thread.

I have been searching for miatas that have gone faster than that (with similar horsepower) since it happened, and I have not found one yet. I did not make that comment without researching it first.

The time that is posted on this site, in the timeslip section, by me is at my car's current normally aspirated set up.

Not saying your times aren't impressive, but honestly I don't know what the record for 200hp Miata's would be, drag isn't my thing in the case of the Miata, not a platform I care to build from for drag racing. I see a 1.7's, but 1.7 and 1.5 are worlds apart, unless I missed a 1.5 60' slip somewhere.

Your run has more to do with the tires than your power adder of choice.

I still ran the numbers before anyone else did.

If you do not know, then why would you even make comments like that?

And by the way, I never said "I am going to run 1.5's"

I said that I thought it was possible to run 1.5's. I would be willing to bet that it has already been done in a very high powered miata somewhere.

For my sake, would you clarify what times you are referring to and post an example or someone else's time. I'm not exactly following what you are claiming. Best 60' in the ~200hp range? Best ET in ~200hp range? Best nitrous Miata time? Honestly I don't really care either way, since I don't like nitrous and I don't like Miata's as drag cars, but you seem to be trying really hard to prove your point. Don't mean that in an offensive way.

I guess I am just not blown away with a 1.7 60' and a 13.## ET. Being as most of the drag racing I take part in deals with much faster stuff, I am not sure if those times are impressive. And why would I not make a comment "like that," I'm trying to figure out if what you are claiming is true and impressive. Educate me drag master.

Best 60' and ET in a 200 horsepower miata of any format.

Mod, I think it is about time to close this thread. I will start another thread about my build later.

And that is your 1.72 60' and the whatever it was, 13.2 something ET? I figured there were turbo guys in the 200 range running that time or better. I guess I am ignorant in that matter.

Dude,
RELAX

Don't let people get to you this easily. We are busting your ***** here, nothing more nothing less.

You want to cut a 1.5 '60 in a slicked and nitroused miata, no one's stopping you. I hope you get a vid. I want to see what it looks like to get out of the hole like a bat out of hell.
We're challenging you to do it more than just plain hating on you. At least I am anyhow. So don't get your panties in a bunch

Been there done that with just nitrous, now im going to use it to save my brakes as a spool assist instead of brake boosting.

I enjoy it more on vehicles where turbo is less of an option.
