Those with Torsen swaps, is your speedo off, or did you fix that, if so what do I need to fix that?

I went from a '91 VLSD to a '94 Torsen and it corrected my speedometer. Was always reading faster than I was going. Now it is dead on with two different GPSs.

Do I need differential output shaft oil seals, looks like the halfshafts are just gonna bolt to the diff since the donors a 94?

it's a good idea to do it while you can, but no, since you are getting a complete donor rear you dont need to replace them as you won't nee dot remove the stubshafts for any reason....

Can't reuse them once you remove the stubshafts?

just curious, isnt 99 complete rear end swap is better than 94-98,for 90 to 93 miata, somebody told me that 99 rear end is good gear ratio specially on boosted miata.i swap mine i have 92 swap to 99 mazdaspeed complete brake, rear end, half shaft, drive shaft and 1999 front sub frame, the sub frame improve bumb steer and caster is way better than my 92,i swap my whole suspension set up to 99 more shack travel plus 6 speed tranny,i got the whole set up for $2000 its that a good deal or what?what do you think about the set up? i just finish put it in 2 days ago, next week is autocross you think it will improve my time.

yes the '99 6-sp is probably the best swap. You end up with a 3.909 end gear. so 1st and 2nd because a lot more utilized.

Maybe not the best for an autox, (acutally unsure about 6-sp ratios), since 1st is not as fast...

all in all the price sounds good, you can expect to pick up a 6-spd for around 600-700 and the 99 rear complete for 800.

6 speed is supposed to suck ***** for autocross. A lot of 2-3 shifting.
