Default Left Headlight Stuck in High Beam

My left head lamp is stuck in high beam mode (even if I just turn the low beams on, the left high beam turns on). If I turn the high beams on, the left high beam remains on. My right headlamp is working correctly, low beam and high beam. I'm thinking I've got a fuse/relay issue?

It's almost gotta be a wiring issue.

Check the bulb itself , the low beam element is probably broken and has fallen across the high beam element thus sending power to it all the time the lights are on . Fred

I'd suspect the bulbs too. I would expect wiring to cause both lights to behave the same way -- although nothing surprises me anymore.

First thing I would do is swap the bulbs side-to-side. Go from there.

Ooh, good call. I like the broken filament explanation.
