Default AC Compressor Leak?

Green fluid, kind of thick and oily. Doesn't smell or taste like antifreeze. Is this what refrigerant looks like? If so, is there any reason to fix this before I start my turbo install?

haha I can't believe you tasted that!
I could just see someone going..."Hmm, something green is leaking in my engine bay, lets have a taste!"
Im just playing with ya.
As stated above, the refrigerant is dyed that color so it is easier to spot leaks...
also I think it is UV reactive so you can use a black light to better spot the leaks.

If you want your a/c to work then you should fix it...
sometimes they sell a sealant that you can add to the a/c lines like you would when adding refrigerant that will fix some small leaks, but I have no experience with leaking from around the compressor area.

Good luck!

Oi, looks like my compressor before it failed!! The leak started to get worse and worse and worse until no refridgerant left. Change it cause i don't know if you can rebuild these compressors yourself.
