I watch this show. Ed the mechanic is huge and watching him drive miatas, minis, X1/9s, etc. is hilarious. One of the few automotive shows worth watching these days.

And the main guy straight low-***** people when buying the car, then when he is selling it and the buyer ask a few hundred under he gives them hell lol.

yeah i know its funny. I watch this show all the time. And they never make any money selling the cars. They should have gone all out with the smurf and put a turbo on it.

I love that show, especially all the cheaky English slang from the host. It's a good thing Mr. Ed doesn't charge for his labor, otherwise they'd loose boatloads of money on each car.

I especially like how he paints nearly everything with a rattle can.

why did he think those were compomotives?

these were compo's, and they haven't been made in years. I had a set of 17x8 for the VW, before the futuras (which are the only wheel I'd replace my street 6ULs for).

God damn chrome, god damn grill (for $120), god damn Bentley sills. Thank god he's guaranteed to get the money back. Oh, and the air filter that gives you a couple hp and a better EXHAUST note, nice. I'll get off my bitter horse though. It did look nice in the end.

yeah, they wasted a lot of money on the bling bits. With a little elbow grease, that interior could have been saved as well.

i thought they really saved that window frame. It looked really bad, but ed fixed it really well. Makes me think that nothing is impossible with body damage.

Love that show, I've seen the mx-5 one online before so watching it on Hd Theater was much better quality.

i love the Classic Car Chaser too. HD theater has lots of car shows. The new "Pimp my ride" is SOOO much better too. No more stupid Jacuzzi ****, but some sick conversions, like 69 charger body on a 08 charger drivetrain.

I watched that one and the first gen MR2 one.

I'm looking for deals on MR2s now...sad.

The show is pretty good on catching and fixing common problems.

I like how expensive that car was to buy. Makes me a little less jealous of all the cool cars the Euro's have knowing they pay through the nose for them. Rusty, moldy smurf for $2600 US. It was straight but rust is a killer for me.
