Does anyone else have these? Did you run into issues with them? It seems all I've been having is problems with the company and the parts for this kit. It took months of emails and phone calls just to get a couple bolts and clips that didn't make it into the kit I bought off rharris. Then I ordered the harness that also wasn't included and when it came, they had the wrong fuse in it and one of the cables doesn't work. $60 for a harness consisting of $5 worth of parts, I expect it to work out of the box. As I'm installing them, I get to the last step and realize the driver side lexan cover is too wide and doesn't clip to the bucket. I tried working with it, but once I figured it out, I tried closing the hood and it doesn't fit the cut out. The hood won't close since the cover is too wide.

I just want to warn others if this is a common thing with the company. Their stuff is way too expensive (complete kit is $600!) to have to deal with so many issues. I hope I'm the only one dealing with this.

Had an early set but never installed 'em. Sold to a local guy who said his install took the better part of 8 hours, which I'm assuming included lots of breaks, due to odd little fitment/alignment details.
However, all of the parts were there and of the proper sizes. This might be the difference from that kit being one of their first to ship and the company being eager to get a foothold in the marketplace at the time vs. later kits and replacement parts being a bit less "tidy".

my friend had them and they fit fine. only bad thing was the lexan cover would fly off once a year. have you priced a lexan cover? that's why when i bought it off him, he already had the stock headlights back on. i won't have headlights soon. (i just got rharris headlight delete hood)

When I ordered mine it was a hassle to get the $100 discount for being one of the members from the initial group buy (this was a group buy before they even made them, $100 deposit was required). I ended up only getting $50 off, due to the fact the owner said his partner and he had split and that was all he could offer.

Once I got the headlights I was immediately pissed off. Seeing that they sent me 2 passenger side buckets! I called them and they sent the driver side bucket to me pretty fast. I actually still have the 2nd passenger side bucket sitting right here as decoration. lol

Fitment was a ****. I had a hell of a time getting things lined up properly. Both with the buckets and the brackets that hold the hella projectors. My bodyshop guy did his magic and got them to fit nicely, but out of the box they were nothing to write home about.

All and all I'm happy with them. Light output isn't amazing with low beams, at all. But as long as you have the high beams on you can see just fine. Only issue I've had since installation was that 3 out of the 4 hella projectors had shut off on me at night while driving. Come to find out it was just the connections that came loose and they needed to be re-adjusted and put back on.

"had" them... basicly, look through a cardboard tube... that is all the ligths will light up directly in front of you

I was part of that original group buy too

the lights themselves are awesome ( they stressed that they are same ones on the Saleen S7 IIRC) but they are so far sunken into the body that there is no light emmited to the sides at all

I took them out to see how much they could light if they were unrestricted and at that point i decided to remove them and go back to stock...

I will be fabbing up something much like those low profile lights and mount these lights in there.. that way they will lift out of the body when being used, have seperate highs and lows, and still keep the stock apperance when they are off

i've got this kit, but i didn't put the lexan on em

as to install, i bought mine used from another member so i knew they'd install fine.

As to light output, i put an HID kit in the low beams and it is better than stock sealed beam, but prob not better than E-codes.

I am wanting to do a low rise setup now as well but the wife likes the way this setup looks so it stays.

I also have added fog projectors under the bumper that are getting HID's to cover the lacking foreground and width. I'll have pics soon to show

But got the problem of one being brighter than the other fixed. The TechOne ballasts i took from the wife's car is dying. I put my old DDM ballasts and now both driver's side and passenger side have equal hot spots (passenger side was half as bright as driver earlier)

I had a different setup but essentially the same thing. I had virtually no light on the sides and when I would be doing some spirited night driving through some twisties I was either following someone or going at half speed because I couldn't see **** around the turn till my car was pointed that way. Some fog/driving lights would remedy this but I had no interest in doing that. Light output in front of me was great though...but that's not what matters when some kid is playing in his front yard at night.

yeah, straight on light is pretty decent, but like you said, side to side is lacking

Just waiting on my HID's to show up so i can put em in the foglights which will GREATLY assist in foreground lighting and width!

If you don't plan on installing auxilarry llighting, this kit may not be for you.


But that being said, the MOSS motorsports kit isn't either, as they use the exact same low beam projectors (and from my experience, the mounting position is not what kills the width of the light output, it's the teeny tiny bowls and tiny lens of the projectors themselves

I'm contemplating figurring SOME WAY to install my Acura TL projectors i have on teh shelf, but i can't figure a way to seal them up

i wish this would have been up befor i bought mine. i like the look but the lighting does suck. and the fitment i think is poor considering how much they cost. and they are having problems with the manufacturer. when mine arrived it didnt have any of the bolts u need to install and no clips to install the lexan covers and took months for the guys at gomiata to get them from the manufacturer to send to me. i think in this kit the bad outweighs the good by far, and i will never put myself though this headache again. i actually came across this page because im starting to have wiring issues with mine, and was wanting to know if anyone else was.

I had a couple wiring issues. First they sent me a ****-poor harness that didn't work and had the wrong fuse and then after a couple months I smelled some electrical burning smell. Couldn't figure it out until one day one of the lights stopped working. I popped off the connector to the light and the whole thing was burned up and melted like too much current was going through it. Goes to show you the quality of the parts.

A friend had more or less the same issues Adam, minus the wiring. It took hell to get them to fit, and the passenger's side Lexan broke in the process. He converted back to the Moss kit he had earlier on in a less than a week.

Unless maybe I heated up the lexan and bent it in, there is no way I could have made it fit. I put just the lexan cover in the opening and it was almost an inch too wide. I ended up taking the other lexan cover off and riding without them and when I took the other cover off, it shattered where the clips were holding it to the bucket. No force or anything, just pulled it off and it broke. The rest of the install only took a few hours since the problems were obvious. What a POS kit and company.

my kit came with the wrong fuse on the drivers side. it blew as soon as i cut them on. now im sure my connectors are loose they keep flickering on and off when i go over bumps and this area of va is very bumpy. as far as fitment goes the only thing that fits right is the bracket. the lexan covers and the cf buckets are garbage. ive bought cheap ebay crap that is better quality. this kit is definitely not worth 600. im actually thinking of taking the lexans off due to moisture and ice buildup. ever morning when i leave for work i cant see my lights. well ice isnt that much of an issue i just crape it off, but the moisture is getting inside the covers and there is no quick fix for that. also i noticed the covers make the lights a bit dimmer, so that'll help with the lighting issue alittle. i realy hate to though considering i spent hours (didnt keep count but i didnt get much sleep that knight) adjusting everything so the lexans could be installed.

oh and if you read this and buy the kit with the lexans anyway start by getting the buckets and covers to fit right cause realy that is the determining factor how you adjust your lights. if you get the kit without covers then everything goes together alot easier. i put my kit together without the covers first. then when i got the clips to install the covers i had to readjust everything.
