Default Radiator from another car for chump miata

I am trying not to take value for an aluminum radiator in our chumpcar, so if we can find a radiator that comes close to fitting the stock area, that also has an increased capacity, it would be great. Anybody have any ideas? I have found a few sites that give me the specs for radiators from cars, but it is just a guess and check.

Visit a picknpull or try a radiator out of an automatic Miata. They're a little thicker with metal end tanks.

What has changed on the value between VIR and now that makes you not want to run it?

2014-2016 gives a fixed value for our car that is slightly higher and fixed value for the aluminum radiator that is slightly higher than before. Between the two, the radiator is getting squeezed out.

I am going to give it a shot with good ducting which should work, but some of the races down here are miserably hot.

I think we'll see a greater improvement in efficiency from perfect, sealed ducting than from a radiator upgrade without it.
