Default For real, how long has your stuff lasted?

My Alternator, starter, radiator, and fuel pump and head all have 225k on them, and still work seamlessly. My fuel pump is now supporting 11 psi of boost. I just lost my passenger rear caliper, and i am replacing the 225k brake hoses with stainless ones, well because i have been meaning to do that since i got the car. I am pretty sure i would have the same short block if my little brother didn't it second after redline at 3rd. So i thought i heard a little clunking and i had an extra short block, so i just did it at 195k. My car has seemed reliable as hell, considering all the auto x and track days (pre turbo) at VIR. Not to mention the 3 years of pizza delivery. All the electronics on the car that are still in use were inplace when i got it at 89k.

So, what i am asking is this, how old or used up is the stuff on your car, and it is still kicking?

101k miles, when I bought damn car. It would honestly be a shorter list to list things that I haven't replaced.

My chassis has just a tick over 1/4M miles...252K. I think my Mom bought it 5yrs old with 40,000 something miles on the clock.

The alternator was gone just after 200K
Original motor departed after 189K, it's been through 3 motors since

Still in the car, all with 40K miles of boost:

5spd
fuel pump
6" VLSD
brakes, never rebuilt, *just pulled for 1.8L upgrade
bearings, ball joints, tie rods etc.
ignition was still running when I switched to COPS at 230K, stock coils and ignitor

I was just asking, my wife thinks i spend too much on maintenance. I should get a nice new car. My argument of "well i spend 100 a month if that in maintenance and you have a 300 dollar a month car payment" just doesn't make sense to her. I further did the math to figure out that including the purchase price of my car and all of the money i have spent on it, including oil changes, has been less that 200 a month. Oh well, if she really wants me to get a new car, you all might see me rollin a new 5.0. so my hair can blow.

I bought my car in 06 with 170k on the clock. It was all original afaik at that point. Since then I've put 40k on the clock and I've replaced the motor, trans, diff, brakes, brake lines, slave and master cylinders, suspension, top, and fuel pump. I guess the only things left are the chassis, alternator and starter.
