Default Drag Racing Event (13.5139 @ 102.35)

Well, my work co-sponsored a drag racing event down near Temple, TX. It was at the Little River dragway in Hammond. It's a 1/4 mile strip, and most of the high hp 700+) cars were having issues with grip. I was running a 7500rpm rev-limiter, which was making me shift to 4th about 10ft before the traps, so we raised it to 7800 so I could clear the traps in 3d. I was using my 235/40/17 RA1s and only change I made to the suspnesion setup on the car was to put the rear shocks on full soft. I didn't even lower tire pressure.

60ft - 2.1107
330ft - 5.7235
1/8mi ET - 8.7753
1/8mi MPH - 80.50
1/4 ET - 13.5139
1/4 MPH - 102.35

Was this still on wastegate? If so that's insane.

Either way that's not a bad time at all.

I assume an early NB with 5spd and 4.10... put year of car and short-list of mods in signature please.
That's a great time for that power level.

It wasn't on wastegate. It was at around 10 psi.

At the time, it didn't feel any faster, but I gained 5mph in the 1/4. Then on the way home, WOW, it is back to being scary. I'll get used to it again.

Default A few videos

This was the first run of the day for me.

This is against a SRT-4.

This is against a LS-swapped RX-7.

Update:
Dyno'd the car to see what it is putting down:

10psi untuned (we pulled timing just to be safe) - 210whp/186tq.

So was that LS RX7 an FD? I assume so, but it's too black in the shade and the car was too far ahead of you to get details by the end of the race. Zing! Just kidding. Seriously. FD or FC?

FD. I don't know what it had done to it, but the guy couldn't even move forward without spinning the tires. He ran a 11.99 and 11.78 the two runs I lined up with him. 60fts were in the high 1.8s, too. He had DRs. He had me covered pretty easily.
