Here's a fun thing to do: Walk into a bicycle shop and ask for a new rim. You will get something that looks like this:



If you want, they can also sell you spokes and a hub, and assemble them all into a complete wheel.

Same rule applies here.


Don't try to fight it. You're in a forum filled with lots and lots of solid technical info, which happens to be populated with pedantic grammar-***** who enjoy hazing the new folks. Just give in, take your ***-pounding like a man, and conform. We'll use lube, we promise.
