sleepy eye mod!!

YEAH, and if he hadn't posted in this thread and instead started a new one, you'd have had a little fit and linked him to this thread and said "Hey dipshit, why didn't you just add to this thread."
There's a time and a place to bash NOOBS... I actually wrote several books on the subject. Bumping a thread like this for an answer like he's looking for is a perfectly good reason to bring an old thread back from the dead.

When I get home tonight, I will try to figure out what wire you need to splice into. Although I do not guarantee I will give you the correct info. As I have never done the sleepy eye mod, nor do I really plan on it.

I can't prove this, but after my Miata went through (and emerged from) its "sleepy" phase, the headlights seem to bounce around more than they did before I ever tried to get them to hold that uncomfortable neither-up-nor-down pose.
There are other variables in play, of course, like the recently installed ES bushings, etc. But this is maybe something for the OP and others considering the broken headlight motor mod to consider.

Ohh ----!! Its about to get serious.
I had the sleepy eyes on my black pop ups. I liked them at the time, also not giving two ***** what anyone else thought.
The pivot controller is what I was using though. Although I cant remember if it just plugged in to an existing harness or if I wired it in. I kept them on the lowest setting which was like 20%.
If I was to go back to flip ups in the future I'd definitely have to get the Moss low pros. I'd never go back to the full 7" frog eyes again. Fawk that.
