Default Clutch Component Failure

I was just out driving the car doing some MS stuff and i stop to get gas. All has been well up to this point. Anyway, i push the clutch in, put it in gear and the car lurches forward all of a sudden. I take it out of gear and push in the clutch again. All of a sudden I have no more clutch pedal. So i open the hood up, the line didn't blow and I have plenty of fluid with no fluid leaks. So i release the parking break and put it in 1st, turn the key till it starts jumping forward, give it gas and drive it home with no clutch.
So i have no idea what really happened. The clutch itself isn't shot, it drove just fine on the way home.
Could this be a throwout bearing? A few weeks ago I adjusted the clutch pedal to take up the 1 inch of slack it had before there was any pressure. I was careful to not adjust the pedal so that the throwout bearing was preloaded or anything as I adjusted it so that there was still a bit of slack in the pedal with no positive presure when sitting still.

Do i need a new throughout bearing or should I look at my clutch slave even though it's not leaking?

i would think if the TOB went you'd feel/hear it...and if it did the fork would hit the spining components and make a wonderful whirling noise...

try to adjust the play again....i remember when i first put in my ACT i tried adjust it from disenaging off the floor....it stopped being able to shift into gears, adjusted too far the other way and it slipped at speed.

any chance the rod that pushes the fork off the slave isn't lined up anymore and doesn't press the fork?

It's the clutch master cylinder.
You push the pedal down and it bleeds off, you can actually hear air bleeding out under the dash.
I got under the dash, pushed the now weak pedal with my hand to the floor and could hear it quite clearly.
Looks like i'm ordering another master.
New or used guys. New is $87 and used is $25 from a low mileage car.

I would rebuild the slave too, since the hydraulic fluid's been contaminated with moisture.

Think I'll build a $3 test plug and test my master before I do any rebuilds. There I go spending my Wendy's budget on the car again.

Rebuilt the master cylinder, bled the line. Boy my clutch feels good now. I guess it has been affecting my drivability a bit. I think it was the rear seal that failed.

Yeah i get the clutch fixed and take it for a drive. Go inside to get the laptop to work on the tune and warmup enrichment and whatnot. Come to find the laptop frozen with parallels running. I reboot and now I can't load windows for the life of me. I leave the house for a night, someone uses my laptop, freezes my sheet and now I'm screwed in the laptop department till i get another copy of windows. Should have that tonight though. Never ends for me it appears.
