Default Something came home with me today

Introducing Donk

96M, 113k, needs some minor things but generally in pretty good shape.

I'll change the wheels out in the next few days. Maybe 'squirt it next week. We'll see if I have any free time.

I really don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. I have a few other projects to finish before even worrying about that. Right now, believe it or not, I'm actually enjoying a soft, quiet, easy to drive car.

The zipper on the top is fried and the a/c system has a leak somewhere by the radiator. So I'll fix that.

Oh--and here's where you'll make fun of me. It's an autotragic. Yeah, I said it. So after we test some ECUs on it, we'll probably manual swap it.

Sorry not trying to complain by anymeans or come of that way. Just had alot of wiring issues and sensor problems. Older cars with cooked wiring and faulty sensor can turn tuning into a waiting game for parts.

Smile De-donkification

Now I need to think up a new name.

And yes, Toyo R1R's are awesome.

Car is surprisingly peppy for a slushbox. The trans does a pretty good job, with exception that it won't kick down easy enough--I'd bet that it's because the EPA had a hand in how it's tuned.

Wouldn't you know that we've been working on an ATX controller.

I figured I called you the last 2 or 3 times so I gave someone else a chance.

When I get some time, I'm going to look up what's involved in the auto/man swap in an OBD2 car. I'm not a big fan of codes.

First I want to 'squirt it as-is with the auto, for the learning experience. We also have an ATX controller to test out...
