what do you need to know? Super common seat, lowest price point. Fits a miata. I know Newbsauce has a pair, and pschimdt IIRC.

If you get it, let me know how it fits with the side mount. I just bought the earlier bottom mount seat for my '94 and would like a second one.

My dog likes it too.

Was that you that bought it? its an awesome seat, I just bought one of the earlier ones. Funny how you buy something and then suddenly there's a bunch of threads talking about it.

They're incredibly comfortable, fairly affordable, gorgeous, safe, and fit really well. What more do you want to know?

I think savington runs them, doesn't he?

I'm curious about these as well.

I have a pair of the older bottom mount. Comfortable on the track, but not for 4-6 hour drives to get there, could use more padding on the bottom (or maybe that's my skinny ***). Not for guys who wear a spare tire. I like them better than the tubular seats I've sat in, and they don't require a back brace like the aluminum seats do (if you track it).

Buddy of mine has them...common seats, cheap, and comfortable for what they are.

Yup I bought it and picked it up lastnight.

That's all I need to know, thanks.

Now, where do I get rails for this thing? Preferrably side mount.

if its the same spacing as the original, it fits the stock slider rails easily with a little modification (reversible). I think LTBmotorsports has rails.

So would I get something like this and mount it to the stock sliders?
MOMO STEEL SIDE MOUNT

A friend has memory fab rails and I like how much they lower the seat. I looked on their site and they dont have the Momo listed as being compatible.

OEM rails. Its not hard. Pull your rails, attach them to the seat. Take your time above all. I jumped right into it and misaligned them a bit so I just ended up saying F it and retapping the rear seat holes.

Sorry no pics at work:

My seat is a side mount. No where to mount on the bottom.

I thought the new 2007 Start seat had both side and bottom mount. If its only side mount, then all my knowledge is out the door. All you use with the old bottom mount design is the seat and the sliders, bolted directly to seat.

Just looked it up, looks like the new Sparco Sprint is the one with both side and bottom mount.

So I just called Momo and the mounting kit from them is $200 and is car specific. There's gotta be a cheaper way. Anyone gone the DIY route?
