I'll be able to jump on it as soon as it arrives. Hopefully you ordered plenty for your next batch so you have some stock between batches.

^^^Agreed that should give me time to start "saving my pennies". Selling out before even receiving inventory must be a businesses "dream come true".

Woo, received my radiator this afternoon. As expected, it looks very nice. I may have time to install it tomorrow and certainly should have time before my next track weekend. Will try and get pictures this evening.

FIRST!!!

got mine yesterday and installed it this morning
im very impressed with it. very nice finishing emilio, and the fit is perfect. it was packaged very well.

details pertaining to NA fitment

im pretty sure this is the fault of my shroud and not the rad, but i added a spacer so the shroud wouldnt rub against the core.

i had to use one of the supplied shorter screws in the location next to the filler neck to clear the overflow nipple.

heres how i routed the overflow line with no A/C fan

yay! it went right in, i didnt have to hammer the lips on the frame rails at all, and it clears my FM sway bar. the only thing i would make note of is the lower neck is a little higher so you have to loosen the hose at the "connector pipe" and side it up more.

Looks great indeed.
So the shrouds needed to be cut/trimmed.
Is this also the case with OEM NB shrouds Emilio?
Anything else that would require trimming/cutting/modifying?

The upper hose doesn't rub/interfere with a 2.5" elbow on a boosted nb?

Any OEM shrouds will need to be trimmed. Dunno on the pipe, that's up to you eye to estimate. One customer has already returned his because it would not clear turbo intake pipes.

What a shame as the intake piping should be routed around the radiator, not the other way around.

one of the primary deciding factors for me to get this rad is that the upper hose isnt pointing right at the TB for reroute+turbo. i dont get it.

It looks perfect for reroute and turbo to me. Even more perfect for my IC routing that goes over the top. Reroute hose stays completely on top of the frame rail, so it doesnt have to cut in front of the TB, and you have less worry about it swinging onto the alternator and getting a puncture.

thats my point. if you have turbo: you should have reroute too. if you dont have a reroute and you get a rad designed for one, and the piping hits, then i say its time for a reroute, not a different rad.

Agreed. This may be one of the reasons i ditch my current radiator for this one at some point. I had to cut the neck and weld it back on at an angle to get it to work with my IC piping and reroute. From the looks of it, this radiator should solve that issue.

I am interested in seeing more pictures of this radiator with a reroute charge pipes.

i have empirical data you can use to check

the neck is about 3" offset to the pass side

Mine has arrived!

Supermiata radiator! by Ryephile, on Flickr

Excellent packaging, and it even has instructions that show where to clearance the fan shrouds. I also was blessed with the ever-elusive orange 949Racing decal.

Mine also arrived to France, I am using an ILMotorsport shroud with a Spal fan and Oil Cooler, I also had to trim a bit the shroud but it's not a big issue :

Will need to trim a little more here for the hose to slide perfectly and doesn't rub.

But it's seems good to me so far :

What keeps the fan from drawing air from the other holes in the shroud rather than through the radiator?

Noticed on the website that this radiator isn't compatible with A/C on NB's... Curious as to why?

By this next upcoming shipment in March, or the next one?

In your opinion, would this radiator work well for a V8R L33 street/autocross car?

Thanks,
