there is a difference between "electronic ****" (PC Pro) and engine management (Link, MS, etc).

He has a CARB approved NB FI device... so he kinda cornered the market

He also seems pretty personable. I like his firey attitude, but hate is ignorance. Tom is the See/Hear/Speak No Evil Monkeys of Miata FI.

I don't see him pulling his head out of his *** regarding EM. It's probably NOT in his financial interest. I bet he makes a **** ton on $900 PCPro sets. Plus he has a timing card coming out (thank god) that he will make an additional killing off of. Imagine paying $1300 for a bunch of shitty piggy backs.

If you just run it pig rich, it won't blow up. Its not hard to claim something is "tuned" when working with 2500rpm fuel tables.

I don't know WTF you guys are talking about. The "auto-tune" feature is a dead issue as it seems Moss isn't able to get it to work for some reason.

As for the PC Pro/PB versus full EM, you guys are just as guilty of being pig-headed and ignorant as you accuse Tom of being. Not everyone needs or wants a full EM. Why is that so hard to understand?

Most of the comments against tom are from his recent comments with FM. Have you seen the FM/FFS thread over at m.net. He argued for 2 pages that PC PRO is an Intercooler.

I didn't read the entire 2 pages, no.

I did read the part where he calls the "e-Cool" an intercooler. He's always maintained that the e-Cool, aka Evaporative Cooler IS an intercooler, but the PC Pro? That's a new one.

Yes, everyone needs full EM, even if they don't think they do. Piggy backs are duct tape. PC Pro is trash.
