Went to install the XR2 valve cover over the weekend and noticed that there is no place to bolt the coil down. I did some searching to see what others have done and it looks like everyone else is running COP. Is there anyone who has swap on this valve cover and it still using the factory coil? If so where and how did you mount it?

if you can't get it to work lemme know i want an xr2 VC......I have cops so i don't need the coil pack, I'll trade you a wrinkle black exposed cam VC for it....

I have COPS waiting to go on but they are not currently in my GRM budget. So far the stock coil is held in place by the lower bolt and a small bracket I made to mount it to the valve cover. Now this might be a dumb question but does the coil body need to be grounded properly?

I've seen a lot of people mount coils to the firewall.
