Default So cal members?

Well this forum is primarily east coast, or at least it seems that way.

How many socal members are there? If there are enough we should get together for a canyon run or something of that sort (even us non-boosted guys) because most of the people in socalm are over 60 and to be honest quite boring. And I would assume the club roadster folk would be reluctant to venture away from turnbull and the orange area.

Anyone think this may happen? Maybe go to a track day? Just throwing out ideas.

I was planning on going then, but won't have my rollbar on in time :(. I would try and put it on myself, but remembering my first install, a friend with good tools is extremely useful.

And no canyon runs? You are really close to some great roads out there in Oxnard, Malibu is just about 30min away!

Well at least thats one member, any more?

Any weekend is good for me, I have the bar off of my old miata, and I think all of the bolts are still there. Thats the only thing I have to check out is that all the bolts and nuts are still present, if not a trip to home depot would sort anything like that out.

Typically, we don't get along with people from SoCal. Those people populate other forums...

Haha, ya I've noticed. Starting in club and ending in roadster, no?

But there have to be a few normal socal miata people.

im from pasadena.

sometimes my friends and i make runs up the crest but as of now, I realy need a brake job

also theres too many damned cops on the crest. helps to have someone on a bike in the lead because those bastards with two wheels fail to warn us bastards with four wheels about the fuzz around the next corner.

Ahem...

Seriously though, SDMC is not quite as active as SoCalm, and they have their fair share of old farts with trick shift *****, but when they do put on a run it's worth attending. Typically they break up the groups by enthusiasm level- for example, one group of sightseers, one group of moderates, and one "fast" group.

I'd like to maybe go out to a SDMC meet, but they are so far away, thats the problem for me. Even kinod is close to a 2 hr drive in traffic.

Thats primarily why I was hoping to find some local'ish members, maybe start our owl little santa monica mtns group, or just go for a drive one day. Maybe I'll go to another socalm drive, as there are always one or two people there who know their ****, start recruiting lol.

The problem is all your northerners thinking that LA is part of southern California. There is life beyond Irvine.

Lol, yes be what kind of life?? extra terrestrial??

That is essentially the problem though, socal (if malibu is indeed included) is just so spread out. Even LA is vast. I guess the question should be, are there any people in Ventura county, palisades, santa monica, topanga, woodland hills, agoura, thousand oaks, calabasas, malibu, camalrillo, oxnard, moorpark, canoga park, culver city, beverly hills, the west side, sherman oaks, hollywood.

Hopefully that is more specific. We could just try and have a sort of socal broad range gathering, including the crazy people beyond Irvine:gay:, but I have a feeling there are so few MT members on this side of the country that there would be like 10 people.

I'm new to this forum and was hoping to get some help figuring out my wiring for my 323 with a bpt. I have several 323's and sedans, but only a couple are boosted and am having a hell of a time trying to sort the problem out. I'm extremely close but maybe I'm missing something. If you are in Ventura county hit me up I can pay you for your time and gas. I'm in Oxnard. Thanks fellas.

Joe (the *****) Perez,
Nobody asked if you could do simple arithmatic.
Yes I revived an old thread, but it was in an attempt to find people in my area.
So if that bothers you take my dick out of your mouth. If you're any representation of this group then my mistake. What kind of place welcomes newcomers with ridicule? WTF when the moderators of this forum can't even be civil.
