Default Can I bypass the PS reservoir tank?

I want to move the air filter behind the headlamp but as you can see the PS reservoir is in the way.

Do you guys think is going to be any problem if I remove the reservoir tank and loop the lines?

Yes there will be problems. Unless by loop the lines you mean not use P/S at all.

But I think you want to loop the lines and continue to use the pump, that will not work.

Only if you lose the P/S. Otherwise, you'll blow out a line when it warms up.

Well.... Plan B

How would you route a cold air intake with this setup?

Relocate the P/S reservoir? With that manifold you don't have many options.

Ditch the power steering and build a BEGI style airbox. Or, go with a CAI setup like mine.

Think it could loop back to the cowl area? Or ditch the PS like a man and go with your original idea.

Or get another manifold and downpipe.

no PS here.. installed the idler pulley and havent looked back.

i didnt bother looping the rack. just empty it well and cover the holes. be sure not to cover them air tight otherwise the rack will build up pressure/resistance when you turn

Relocate the can. It'd only take 5 minutes.

I'd move it back towards the turbo an inch or so and then route intake between rad and reservoir.

I second that. Seems like the easiest solution that will have a worthwhile result.
