I want a review of the carbotech's. Do they live up to the hype?

That's the combo I was planning on getting, but the guy at carbotech talked me into getting xp8's all around since I still DD the car. He said they've been racing miata's since 2001 and that the 8's wouldn't fade, I'm thinking now I should have demanded the xp10's for the front.

Tires mounted

Wheels mounted

Stock front brakes

Sport front brakes

The whole scene, you can see my buddy's GTI in the back. Still need to get pictures of how the car sits all said and done, it was dark when I finished.

Is it just me or do the tires look a bit to small for those rims, like they look stretched outward?

They have a bit of stretch. Looks like **** to me (I have the same tires and rims) and I can't wait to move on to wider tires.

Yea, can't get any wider in a good street tire.
