Default Coil pack for 1.6 miata

It seems I need a new one as the contacts are corroded.

Is there a way to clean them.

Apparently, I cannot rub them down with sand paper.

Use a medium grade steel wool or an SOS pad.

I bit the bullit and sourced a good second hand one. Will fit tomoz and report back.

I have also heard and read about the EMB killing coilpacs on different cars.

Anyone else heard of this?

Only what I think I heard. The earlier software/firmware would leave voltage going to the coil with the key on and engine not running. This was supposedly corrected in later software and firmware updates.

coilpack is on along with new pvc valve and water thermosensor.

does not hesitate anymore at idle whcih has been tested as it is not shorting out anywhere.

As to hesitation on boost....this will need to be monitored.
