Default Cleaning engine bay, how much of this can I eliminate?

As the title states, I want to clean up my engine bay. How much of this stock computer controlled / emissions related stuff can I get rid of? I am running Megasquirt II standalone, and plan on never using the stock ECU ever again, and I also don't have to pass emissions.

The charcoal canister can be removed for sure. The second and third pictures, I have no idea. With the charcoal canister, the purge valve and related can also be removed.

You can junk it all. The canister you can remove + the bracket that holds it. Then loop the lines. The emissions stuff you can remove completely as well just take care of the vacuum lines.

Your pointing at all the wrong ****!

Move your overflow to behind the bumper skin and your washer tank replaced with something small that you can hide (unless you use it all the time...otoh if you never use it like me take it out completely)

Like others have stated you can pitch all that other stuff and cap off the vac source and whatnot.

#3 is a pulsation damper for the fuel system. It's a returnless system so it's supposed to help smooth the flow to the injectors. I didn't remove it on mine, but removed #1 and #2

Yes, remove all those vacuum lines and that stupid microchip in a box looking thing. Do not remove the thing attached to the fuel lines.

Also, when you do your upgrade get rid of EGR.

Will removing these things get a cel light?

on a stock MSM ecu.

yes, on a stock ECU removing those will give a CEL with about 95% guarantee.

standalone ecu doesn't "throw a CEL" unless you chose to physically connect the CEL wire and trigger it.
