Just want to bitch, and a question
Holy baby jesus. Last night I spent like 2 hours removing the goddamn remote oil filter thingamajig that came on my miata when I bought it. GARGHGAHGAHHHHHHH
After removing it, I noticed that my oil filter fitting on the block looks weird. Looks like a bunch of washers stacked on eachother and they seem to be seeping a bit of oil. Does that make any sense? Anybody got pics of a 1.8 block, passenger side I can compare it to?
I'm not sure if it's some kind of rigged extension that whomever installed the filter relocator installed or if it's supposed to look like that.
Also, getting to the sending unit is going to be a bitch and a half and I've decided to run a -3AN line from the block to a manifold to branch out to the feed line and stock pressure sensor switch.
I've gotten accustomed to boosting hondas and damn are they simple compared to a miata.
